2 Broke Geeks

“2 Broke Geeks” consists of Mia Resella and Omar Najam, two YouTubers formerly part of Felicia Day’s Geek & Sundry network. Selected in May 2013 to produce content for the Geek & Sundry Vlogs channel, their series focused on advice for geeks on a budget. Currently, ‘2 Broke Geeks’ runs independently on their YouTube channel with shows like “Hey, That’s on Netflix (instant-watch)” and “Mia Hasn’t Seen Sh*t.” Additionally, Mia and Omar are both writers for the upcoming web series “The Red Shirt Diaries, Season 2” (showrunner Jason Inman) and “Social Medium” (showrunners Brian Newlin and Tara Jayn).
Omar is also a director (most known for the “Firefly Online” trailer) and the host of the Sunnydale Study Group podcast,. Mia is a writer and animator.
